GRP in the chemical industry

For some years now, it has been impossible to imagine the chemical industry without GRP as a material. More and more parts made of steel are being replaced by GRP due to the special material properties of composites.

Hardly any other industry in plant construction suffers more from the effects of corrosion than the chemical industry. Common materials, such as steel or aluminium, offer little resistance to the influence of aggressive substances in the long term. GRP, that is, glass-fibre-reinforced plastic, combines all the properties that conventional materials cannot offer. Anti-corrosive, also chemically resistant to most chemicals, electrically non-conductive, anti-magnetic and largely maintenance-free.These are just the most important characteristics of GRP.

On top of this, GRP is easy to process and easy to install. Due to its long service life combined with all the aforementioned material properties, this material is recommended as a long-lasting investment.
