GRP H-profile

GRP H-profiles are used wherever components need to be permanently resilient, dimensionally stable and comparatively light at the same time. They are used as load-bearing components in our construction solutions, for example for sewage treatment plants, walkways or in substructures for platforms with GRP gratings. Their geometry allows for extremely high rigidity with a low profile weight.

From the initial idea through design, development and processing to the finished product, Fibrolux supports projects with technical expertise and in-house production.

Sturdy, lightweight and versatile

GRP H-profiles are a future-proof solution for constructions where conventional materials reach their limits. They offer a durable alternative to metal components, particularly in environments with moisture, chemical exposure or an increased risk of corrosion.

The H-shape ensures optimum force absorption and makes the profile particularly interesting for load-bearing and stiffening functions. At the same time, the low dead weight significantly reduces the effort required for transport, handling and installation.

Your advantages at a glance:

High rigidity
The profile geometry supports stable constructions and enables safe use in load-bearing applications.
Low dead weight
GRP H-profiles are easy to transport, cut to size and install, which saves time and money.
Corrosion resistance
The material is ideal for damp, aggressive or chemically contaminated environments.
LOW-MAINTENANCE IN USE
The profiles are designed for a very long service life and reduce maintenance costs to a minimum.
COST-EFFECTIVENESS
Long-term cost savings

By eliminating the need for time-consuming maintenance work or regular protective coatings, GRP components significantly reduce the lifecycle costs of your facility compared to steel structures.

SAFETY
Certified protection

The material is inherently electrically insulating and non-magnetic. For industrial facilities with strict fire safety requirements, the H-profiles can also be manufactured using flame-retardant resin systems.

EFFICIENCY
Thermal insulation

GRP has extremely low thermal conductivity. When used in building envelopes, architectural applications, or cooling environments, these profiles reliably prevent the formation of thermal bridges.
