GRP angle profiles

GRP angle profiles are L-shaped structural profiles made of glass fibre reinforced plastic. They are manufactured using the pultrusion process and are used wherever a connecting, reinforcing or stiffening element is required that is also corrosion-resistant, electrically insulating and low-maintenance.

This makes GRP angle profiles particularly suitable for applications in electrical engineering, plant construction, water management and in areas with moisture, chemical exposure or an increased risk of corrosion. Wherever metallic materials reach their limits, GRP angle profiles offer a durable and economical alternative.

Fibrolux supplies GRP angle profiles in isosceles and isosceles versions, with side lengths of 10 to 250 mm and wall thicknesses of 2 to 12 mm. Many dimensions are available from stock in 6 metre lengths at short notice from Hofheim. For project-specific requirements, tools for customised cross-sections can also be manufactured on request.

GRP angle application

Material with constructive added value.

The material GRP, i.e. glass fibre reinforced plastic, often also referred to as FRP or GRP, combines properties that hardly any other construction material offers in this form: It is electrically non-conductive, resistant to numerous chemicals and absorbs virtually no moisture.

The pultrusion process produces profiles with constant wall thicknesses over the entire length and uniform fibre orientation. This ensures reliable mechanical characteristics and forms an important basis for static dimensioning in construction planning.
