GRP Construction Profiles

The alternative to conventional materials. Profiles are used for any application where special material properties are required. They provide ideal features for high load-bearing constructions.

Advantages of reinforced Plastics

  • Self extinguishing, halogen free
  • Low weight
  • Corrosion and chemical resistant
  • Economic efficiency
  • Easy assembly, short construction period
  • Operating conditions -100°C to +180°C
  • Linear elongation and tensik behavior
  • Electrical isolating
  • UV and weather resistant
  • High strength

Construction:

GRP construction profiles are produced by the pultrusion process. In general, all profiles are reinforced by fibreglass mats. Continuous fibreglass rovings in the centre absorb longitudinal forces and loads. Their structure can bear high stress. More about the pultrusion process is here.

Surface:

GRP construction profiles can additionally have a surface veil to provide an especially resin rich surface. So the profiles are UV-resistant and weather proof.

GRP Handrails

GRP handrail systems are available as preassembled modules. For erecting and assembling GRP handrail systems only a few tools are necessary.
