EBA Registration for Fibrolux GRP Gratings & Safety Floorings
Gratings & Safety Floorings made of glassfibre are used for walkways, maintenance platforms, pit covers, railway crossings and similar applications. The Federal Railway Authority (EBA) granted approval of registration for GRP Gratings in the versions ISO30, ISO38 and ISO50 and Safety Floorings P30, P38 and P50. With slip class R13 these products meet the highest safety standards.

Surface refinement extends the application range of GRP
From 2013 onwards we can deliver our pultruded profiles with additional surfaces.
The special coating material is extremely UV- and weather-resistant.
Through the variety of colours and surface selections, the profiles can be used in areas for which a complex varnishing was previously required.
Fibrolux cable ladder in the JadeWeserPort
On September 21st, 2012 the heads of government for Lower Saxony (Niedersachsen) and Bremen, David McAllister (CDU) and Jens Böhrnsen (SPD) met in Wilhelmshaven. They came to the opening of the deepwater-port JadeWeserPort. Even the largest freight ships in the world can enter this modern harbour regardless of high or low tide. The cable ladders and wall consoles made of GRP withstand the sea-water and were therefore the first choice of the operator.
GRP usage in highly corrosive environments
Due to its resistance against chemicals, salt water and acids, GRP is used increasingly in highly corrosive environments. Compared to steel, GRP has a long life span even in the adverse conditions in an acid scrubber.
GRP Stair Tread Covers
GRP Stair Tread Covers are the optimal solution to upgrade existing steel, concrete and wooden stairs which do not longer correspond to security statements.
Stair tread covers are an economical option to conventional solutions. They only need a minimal assembly effort and are customisable.

Fibrolux GRP Profiles for use under water
Because of its technical features GRP is excellently suited for use in chlorine and saltwater. The combination of mechanical strength and the insensibility for corrosion without any additional coating, which is required in the steel processing, has been used in several projects.
In a recent implemented project Fibrolux delivered panel profiles with special flow-through openings as well as the sub-construction for the use of lifting floors in a dolphinarium. The low weight and the freedom from maintenance are also very important in this case.
This special floor construction enables an easy access for the zoo-keeper to the animals and provides an easy cleaning because it can be lifted above the waterline.
Fibrolux cable conductors for antenna systems of a space centre
At the beginning of 2009 the delivery of cable conductors occurred for antenna systems of a space centre. In this summer just 850 m of cable conductors with different widths were constructed, there approx. 75 modules were used in different executions (fork modules, reduction modules, crossroad modules, t-modules). The cable conductors were supported on one system developed by us, because these must not be mounted on the ground.

Not only the industry knows about the values of reinforced plastic. Artists have recognised the qualities of GRP and use it in their work. This work of art consists of GRP rods which build a contrast to the surrounding nature. But by their natural movements they unite to one image.

You can find more information about the glass fibre reinforced ladders online. GRP-ladders are a real alternative to steel and high-grade steel. They are cheaper than other ones and because of the characteristics they are a real alternative to products with other materials.

Glass Fibre Ladder
The company Fibrolux GmbH has developed a ladder 100% free from metal. Compared with other ladders ours have a very high corrosion resistance, electrical and UV-resistance. The GRP-ladders fulfill all requirements of the ladder-norm DIN 131. The ladders are made of pultruded GRP-profiles. Because of the fact that we are a producer of these GRP-profiles, we are able to offer the ladders in a direct way at a competitive price. The product assortment contains at the moment only straight ladders. But we try to add some additional models in the future.
